West Trip 2019 #4 Cody, Wyoming
August 8th - 10th
Arrived at Parkway trailer and RV park in Cody, Wyoming. We had a nice drive and decided to stay in Cody to take in some of the history before heading into Yellowstone. It was a long day at 478 miles driving for about 10 hours. Hunger set in and we asked the owner were we could get a good steak. "Next door!" and he was right. Cassie's was just next door and had to be the best steak I've ever had. The campsite was full hookup and pretty decent for a private campground.

After dinner we headed back to the camper and chilled the rest of the evening for tomorrow would be a busy day.
We started early the next day with 1st stop at "Old Trail Town" museum. This was well woth it if your into history. There are several original buildings that were moved into this area to create an old west town. Each building was a museum for that particular kind of building except the saloon was selling:)

We had lunch in Cody at another saloon ( not worth mentioning) and then headed to the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. I can spend hours at places like this. I use to drive my kids nuts wanting to read all the info.
The rodeo was taking place that night and we decided to go and see it. I have become a fan of rodeo's :)
Well a long day so we headed back to the camper for the night. Tomorrow we head for Yellowstone:)
See Ya then,
Tom
