West Trip 2019 #22 Mesa Verde NP

Sept. 11-13th   Mesa Verde National PArk

Todays travels will be 236 miles.  We will travel through Valley of the gods and will stop for a tour.

We planned to stay at a boondocking site just outside of Mesa Verde NP.  However, upon arriving we decided the road in was too rough for our rig..(Another need for 4WD).  So we headed for the park and was able to find space at Morfield Campground.  This place was pricey for no hookups even with a park pass.

This was an interesting stop with several sites showing how ancestral Puebloan people lived.

Tomorrow we will head for Devil's Tower in Wyoming with some overnights in Grand Junction, CO at a OHV BLM area and Wheatland Wyoming Lewis park for free camping.

See Ya Then,
Tom, Pat and Kira
